In today’s tutorial, things are getting a little cheeky! I’m using a very special "boob-printed" paper gifted to me by a friend to create what I’ve affectionately named "Topless Tulips."
These unique flowers were created as a special gift for the staff at my local mammography office. They absolutely loved the first batch, so I’m making more to keep the joy flowing! Because this handcrafted paper is quite thick, I’ll show you my "secret sauce" process for making it flexible using glossy glue and pink dye.
We will walk through:
✨ Prepping and softening thick specialty paper.
✨ Cutting petals with my favorite "Killer Scissors."
✨ Shaping and curling petals using fondant tools.
✨ Creating realistic centers with sand-tipped stamens.
✨ Final assembly and adding custom leaves.
Whether you are making these for breast cancer awareness, a gift for a medical professional, or just for a laugh, I hope this inspires you to look at specialty paper in a whole new way!
